Hodemines is the first town that an RO2 player (Norman Race) will encounter when playing the game.
Also, this town has many parts that are unreachable without glitching.. So today I'm posting screen shots of these "unreachable" places.

Hodemines Waterfalls 1

Hodemines Waterfalls 2

Hodemines From Above

Hodemines Beach (Not the one outside Hodemines)

These are swordsman equipments for male.. The equipments are displayed according to level from lowest to highest, from left to right, respectively.

Swordsman Equipments

By the way, I would like to apologize with regards to the resolution of the screen shot. It's kinda difficult to take high quality screen shots with Fraps because the RO2 client would sometimes close after the screen shot is taken.

Today I'll be posting screen shots of several NPCs, quest pointers, and several basic notes on how to get around the world of RO2.

Wing of Wind Soldiers

Here we have a Wing of Wind soldier. Their primary task in the game is to teleport players to certain locations in the same map or a completely different map for a corresponding fee.

Cattleya NPCs

In every map outside of a town, you would most likely expect to fight mobs who can kill you or damage you a lot (depending on your level). In the event that you get killed by a mob, you will be given two options: To re-spawn at your save point or re-spawn at the nearest heal station. At the heal station there is this guy (or girl in other maps), a Cattleya NPC. Their job is to sell potions and other stuff (depends on the map) to help you regain HP. In other servers, they also allow you to regain full HP for a corresponding fee.
Please take note that there are also Cattleya NPCs that are located within every town. These NPCs are the ones in charge of selling skill books for you to buy and use, that would then in turn, allow you to use skills that you need for killing those oh-so-to-hard-to-kill-mobs-of-RO2. They are also the ones you go to when you want to change your job or if you want to acquire specialty skills learned from each job.

Direction Posts

This land mark displays important places and the direction you have to travel to get there. The design of each post vary from region to region.

Town Mailbox

Some towns have a mailbox located near the Kafra or near their entrance. This allows players to send letters containing text, money and items. Each letter will cost the sender 10 Rufi. Letters on the official server takes 30 minutes to be received by the recipient.
Please take note that some quest items and equipments cannot be mailed. The "Can't be traded rule" for some equipments also applies.

Quest Boards & Kafra Quest Progress Boxes

There are several of these boards scattered all around the map. Each one displays all the quests available for each region. All quests have a level requirement that you have to attain before you can acquire and accomplish them. The quests window (can be opened from a quest box) displays the rewards that will be given to you after you have successfully accomplished a quest. You can get experience, equipments, usable items and equipment exchange coupons as rewards from these quests.
Sometimes, a quest will ask you to mail the progress of your request, which is the primary function of the Kafra Quest Progress Boxes (the one beside the board). To accomplish this step, you'd only have to click on the box and press the button that appears when a window pops up.

Please take note that you get only one of each type of quest at a time:
Official (The one you get from the quest board)
Personal (You can get these from NPCs with a green chat balloon above their heads, I'll be discussing more of this later on)
Scenario (Not implemented yet)

Quest Pointers

Most quests require you to talk to NPCs scattered around one or more maps.. Each person that you will have to talk to have a chat balloon on above their heads.. The color of the chat balloon will vary depending on the type of quest that they are part of.
The first pic shows an NPC with a yellow orange chat balloon, which means that he is part of an Official Quest and you would have to talk to him and click the official quest button to proceed to the next step of the quest.
The second pic, on the other hand, shows a guy NPC with an apple green chat balloon above his head. NPCs like this one will give you Personal Quests. To acquire the quest, you would have to talk to the NPC and click the personal quest button.
Please take note that a single NPC can be part of both an Official and Personal Quest (meaning they'd have both green and yellow balloons on top of their head). Also, quest NPCs can also be are also displayed on the mini-map (Hot key - M) with their corresponding colors of chat balloons. So if you aren't sure of the location of a certain NPC on a map, just open your map and you may be able to pinpoint that NPC's exact location.

Whew.. I'm beat.. Thanks for reading and see you next time! lol

Any of the following posts above may contain wrong information. I've based them all from my experience so please bear with me.
