Hey guys! tanong lang sana ko. Ano ba dapat hardware set-up pag Windows 64bit ang OS (Xp or Vista)? Gusto ko kasi malaman rin kung mas OK ba talaga pang 3d applications(3dsmax,etc.) at pang-photoshop e. Sa nakaka-alam, advice naman please! Undecided

I would guess you'd need a quad core, but dual core would do nicely as well. Then to utilize the 64bit architecture, you'd need to go at least 4GB. If less than this, stick with 32bit (though its still fine to run a 64bit OS on a 2GB ram)
Wala ako experience sa 3D rendering eh so, really can't comment. Sa Photoshop, wala naman ako napansin na speed difference. I guess dahil nasa 25MB lang ang file size ng mga na edit ko.

Sa RDBMS ko lang nakitahan ng speed difference ang 64bit at 32bit OS (server side). But I personally use Vista x64 as my gaming box.

Baka may input po yun iba dyan.

thanks sir maxx! i was thinking of using it when interchangeing between 3dsmax and photoshop while working. i have two 1gb rams na naka-dual channel. ok lang ba magkabit ko ng 2 2gb rams sa other two slots ko para 6mb na? If yes, would you recommend it?

6GB should not be a problem as long as your motherboard supports it. I did try it before but took off the 2x1GB modules later on. For my needs, it was just way too much. 4GB is enough for most of my games and apps.
