In a way, it does. Kahit walang overclock pero your running parts that constantly draw large amounts of power. video cards does this when your laying games, and your running a higher end video card.

most of the time ang mas mahal na power supply eh may Active PFC na feature. yung mga generic eh halos lahat yun non-PFC. then again even branded computers like Dell for example eh karamihan eh non-PFC pa rin ang gamit. ako PFC na binili ko para mas safe dahil mas stable yung voltage.

may iba ring bagay na nagc-cause minsan ng pagmahal ng power supply. kung socket based yung cable design nya ... yung cooling ... efficiency ... and yung brand name.

^there we go ... it should help prolong yung lifespan ng devices mo.

as for yung "efficiency" ... the higher the number ... the better amount of savings sa kuryente.
