Anyone using a 64 bit operating system here? I am using Vista x64 and so far, no problems encountered. Most of the games I play works on it, emulating the 32bit environment, something called WoW, hindi yun "world of warcraft" ha.

Games I have tried on Vista x64:
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Crysis
Call of Duty 4
C&C: Tiberium Wars
Bioshock
Supreme Commander

On application side naman, I only use a handful in my PC (Photoshop, CorelDraw, MS Office, etc), so far ok naman. For utilities like disk defragmenter and anti virus, dapat native 64bit. Having 4GB of RAM helps a lot in running the OS.

The only downside for me is the Adobe Flash Player thumbdown They have not released a native 64bit Flash player so your native 64bit browser won't have flash capability. The 32bit counterparts works though.
Baka mayroon po dyan ganito ang gamit and wants to share something. Cheers  cheers

I dont use my Vista x64 machine on everyday stuff (Main computer is a Mac), I just use it on games. so far I havent encountered problems on the games I play. (also using 4GB ram).

I used to have the 32bit then I upgraded to 4GBs of RAM I realized that I can only use like 3GBs on a 32bit OS!! so I "upgraded" to x64.

Nice onin. Thanks for sharing.  thumbup

32bit OS can, in theory, use about 3.25GB of RAM. This size can still get lower depending on the number of devices (sound cards, video capture cards, etc). Windows XP SP3 and Vista x86 SP1 can see 4GB physically but cannot utilize the whole amount due to its nature.

Keep 'em coming guys...  icon_rock
