Globe yata ang ha-handle sa distribution nang iPhone 3G dito sa pinas at ang expected price is around P13,500. Ang sabi end of July or aabot nang September.

Nakaka pagtaka lang, kung 3G phone siya, paano magkakaroon nang 3G calls kung parang walang camera sa front panel niya. Hmn...

3G is not just about Video Calls (iPhone 3G doesnt have the capabilities of video calls). 3G is basically faster than 2G / 2.5G which uses EDGE / EGPRS its very slow compared to HSDPA thats being used by 3G. thats why they included the video calls service on the 3G networks because its faster.

I tested both phones; both using the iPhone 2.0 firmware.

iPhone 3G - 600-800kbps
iPhone 2.5G - 100-200kbps
