Facts muna:
- Unit Sales figures: DS is beating PSP almost 3:1 ... since mas vast ang genre ng games na available sa DS compared sa PSP
- Game Sales figures: More than a quarter (6) ng Top 20 games of all time sa wikipedia eh galing sa DS. and wala kahit isa sa PSP.
- Games Quality: Well medyo subjective siya pero kung ibe-base lang natin siya sa mga Game of the Year awards ng Gamespot, IGN, and Gamespy nung 2007 ... lahat sila eh Zelda PHG ang pinili ... w/c is a DS game.
- Reviews/Comparisons: Gaya nung sa pricefight, sila mismo pro NDS. to be fair however, nung una nilang kinompare ang PSP at DS phat eh panalo ang PSP.
- Longer battery life (max of 8hrs) compared to 5hrs ng PSP (according to prizefight)
Personal opinion:
- Innovation: IMO ito yun magd-drive sa atin para manatiling excited sa mga bagong products like games console. if we're just given better graphics everytime mag-release sila ng bagong unit eh darating din ang time na sasawaan din tayo. and I think karamihan ng tao ngayon eh aware dun kaya nasa top ang Wii and DS. kakaibang experience na hanap ng mga tao ngayon and hindi lang graphics at extra features na hindi related sa gaming on a "gaming" device.
- It's more portable. Which is important sa akin since tamad ako magbitbit. with the DS, kasya siya sa pants ko so mas pabor siya sa akin in terms of size.
- Looks: IMO, mas sexy and elegant looking ang DS Lite kumpara sa PSP.
- Game size: sa 4gb micro-sd ko eh around 60 games ang naka-install. but of course that comes with a price ... less FMV's, speech, and music.
- Price: self-explanatory ...
